Yogesh Kumar Joins Max Life Insurance as Zone Vice President of Core Agency

Yogesh Kumar has taken on the role of Zone Vice President for the Core Agency at Max Life Insurance Company Limited, where he will be based in Kolkata. In this capacity, Kumar is tasked with spearheading business transformation initiatives and identifying new markets for growth. With over 16 years of experience at Max Life, his expertise in life insurance, change management, and business development makes him an ideal fit for this leadership position. His role will play a pivotal part in further strengthening Max Life’s agency channel across diverse geographies in India.

Prior to this new role, Kumar served as the Zone Head of Agency Transformation at Max Life from 2022 to 2024, where he successfully led team management and life insurance strategies. His earlier experience includes positions at major companies such as Tata AIA Life Insurance, where he was the Cluster Head for Noida, and ICICI Prudential Life Insurance, where he worked as a key team member in business development for over two years.

Kumar’s experience spans multiple regions, including Delhi, Rajasthan, Punjab, Himachal Pradesh, and the northeastern states of India. His ability to drive large-scale change management and turnaround projects has earned him a reputation as a results-driven leader in the insurance industry. His education background includes a full-time diploma in business management, which further complements his strong sales and leadership skills.
