Nimisha Pandey Appointed as Programming Head at Sony SAB

Nimisha Pandey is set to take on a new role as the Programming Head at Sony SAB, marking her return to Sony Pictures Network India (SPNI). This will be her second stint at the network, where she began her career in 2004 at what was then known as Multi Screen Media. Her extensive experience in the entertainment industry has equipped her with the expertise and vision to elevate the programming landscape at Sony SAB.

Prior to this, Nimisha played a pivotal role at Zee5, where she served as the Chief Content Officer since 2021. Her contributions included developing original content strategies and working on projects that helped redefine digital storytelling. Before Zee5, she held the position of Director of International Originals at Netflix, where she focused on creating global-quality original content that resonated with audiences.

With a career spanning more than two decades, Nimisha has also been associated with renowned production companies like ALT Digital, Balaji Telefilms, and 4 Lions Films. Her journey through these influential media houses has honed her skills in content creation, programming, and strategic planning, making her a valuable addition to Sony SAB’s leadership team.

Known for her ability to craft engaging narratives and design innovative programming, Nimisha is expected to bring fresh perspectives to Sony SAB’s content lineup. Her appointment signals the network’s continued commitment to delivering diverse and appealing content to its audiences.
