Amit Sharma Joins Gokaldas Exports Limited as Group Chief Human Resources Officer

Amit Sharma has recently taken on the role of Group Chief Human Resources Officer (CHRO) at Gokaldas Exports Limited, bringing extensive experience in human capital management and strategic HR leadership. In this capacity, Amit plays a crucial role within the Group Leadership Team, where he oversees global business operations for Gokaldas Exports and its group companies. He is instrumental in streamlining the HR function to align with the organization’s strategic goals.

Prior to joining Gokaldas Exports, Amit served as the Vice President and Head of HR for the Volvo Group in India. During his tenure, he was responsible for providing strategic HR leadership across multiple business entities, including Volvo Group India, Volvo CE India, and Volvo Financial Services India. Amit led significant initiatives, such as enhancing talent mobility, fostering collaboration, and implementing a cross-functional approach to leadership development.

Amit’s experience also extends to his role as Director of Human Resources and India HR Head at TE Connectivity. Here, he managed HR for five businesses and four manufacturing sites, focusing on driving growth through strategic HR practices, capability building, and developing high-potential talent.
