Kshitij Sarup Joins Havells India as Head of Influencer Marketing

Kshitij Sarup has taken on a significant role as the Head of Influencer Marketing at Havells India. With a proven track record in marketing and leadership, Kshitij’s appointment marks his return to the company where he had previously contributed extensively. His experience includes leading various marketing initiatives across multiple business units, with a strong focus on enhancing brand visibility and engagement.

Before rejoining Havells India, Kshitij served as the Head of Marketing for Plywood and Allied Business at Greenlam Industries. In this role, he focused on shaping marketing strategies and elevating the brand’s positioning in the market. His extensive background with Havells started in September 2017, when he joined as a Senior Manager of Marketing for Professional Lighting. Kshitij’s journey within Havells saw him rise to the position of Assistant General Manager (AGM) Marketing for Professional Lighting and Solar in April 2019, followed by a further promotion to oversee Consumer Lighting, Professional Lighting, Solar, REO Fans, and Rural Channel as AGM Marketing in April 2020.

During his tenure, Kshitij excelled in leading multi-category marketing initiatives and driving impactful brand strategies. His last role at Havells was as the Deputy General Manager Marketing for Consumer and Professional Lighting, Solar, REO Fans, and Rural Channel from December 2021 to December 2022. His efforts focused on maximizing the company’s outreach and ensuring cohesive brand communication across all segments.

In addition to his experiences at Havells, Kshitij was also associated with NTL Lemnis, Digitas India, and Archidesign Group earlier in his career. With a strong grasp of advertising, public relations, and brand management, he has worked with traditional and digital media to effectively communicate brand values. His experience also includes leading teams in business analytics and data mining, optimizing marketing efforts for better results.
