Ankit Jain Joins Flipkart as Senior Vice President and Head of Grocery and Large Supply Chain
Ankit Jain has recently been appointed as the Senior Vice President and Head of Grocery and Large Supply Chain and Supply Chain Design at Flipkart, based in Bengaluru, Karnataka. In his new role, Ankit oversees the complete management of grocery and large supply chains, which includes warehousing, material movement, and last-mile delivery. Additionally, he is responsible for designing efficient supply chain processes for both Flipkartx and Myntra, ensuring seamless operations from end to end.
With over five years of experience at Flipkart, Ankit has held several senior leadership roles that have been pivotal in shaping the company’s supply chain strategies. Prior to his current role, he served as Senior Vice President for Planning, Grocery, and Supply Chain Design, where he was instrumental in developing demand and supply planning processes. His approach integrated robust inventory and supply chain strategies, enhancing the customer experience while maintaining operational efficiency.
Before joining Flipkart, Ankit built a solid foundation in supply chain management and logistics with Unilever, where he worked for over 14 years. His tenure at Unilever included roles such as General Manager of Demand Planning and Director of Logistics and Warehousing. His extensive background in logistics and planning allowed him to successfully manage end-to-end supply chain operations across multiple geographies, a skill set that has been invaluable in his transition to Flipkart.
