Shubbam Sharma has been appointed as the Chief Growth Officer at Pepperfry, an e-commerce leader in furniture and home decor. With more than 17 years of experience across retail, e-commerce, and omnichannel sectors, Shubbam brings a wealth of knowledge to his new role, where he is set to drive Pepperfry’s growth initiatives. His extensive background in leading high-performance teams and strategic development positions him to make a significant impact in this expanding industry.

In his new capacity, Shubbam will focus on enhancing Pepperfry’s market share by spearheading customer acquisition strategies and bolstering operational efficiency. A key area of his leadership will be scaling the Home Categories, introducing new product segments, and expanding the B2B segment. This will involve initiatives like the channel partner program and exploring partnerships with HORECA and corporate clients, ensuring a diverse and robust expansion approach.

Previously, Shubbam served as the Chief Business Officer at ImpactGuru, where he led growth across multiple regions, optimizing operations, marketing, and HR processes. His tenure at CarDekho saw him strengthen the used car retail division, showcasing his versatility in managing varied growth strategies. Shubbam’s consulting experience at RedSeer Strategy Consultants and Technopak Advisors further solidified his expertise in advising on digital transformation and market expansion, skills that are expected to enhance Pepperfry’s growth trajectory.

Shubbam’s career began at Godrej, and he later co-founded a direct-to-consumer fashion brand specializing in ethnic apparel, reflecting his entrepreneurial spirit. He holds an MBA from IIM Lucknow and a B.Tech from the College of Engineering Roorkee, both of which have equipped him with a solid foundation in strategic and analytical thinking.
