Chandan Shirbhayye Named Vice President, Head of Supply Chain & Operational Excellence at Aragen Life Sciences

Chandan Shirbhayye has taken on the role of Vice President and Head of Supply Chain & Operational Excellence at Aragen Life Sciences, located in Hyderabad. With over two decades of experience across leading industries, Chandan now leads the company’s supply chain operations and operational excellence initiatives, bringing a focus on delivering efficiency, innovation, and strategic growth.

In his nearly ten-year tenure with Aragen, Chandan has held a series of critical roles. Starting as Associate Vice President & Head of Supply Chain, he steadily advanced through the ranks, previously serving as Vice President & Head of Supply Chain, where he championed initiatives that strengthened Aragen’s resource management and operational framework. His hands-on approach has contributed significantly to the company’s robust supply chain system, making his latest appointment a strategic move for further enhancing Aragen’s capabilities.

Before Aragen, Chandan gained valuable experience in supply chain and sourcing at Piramal Enterprises, where he managed functions in the Consumer Products Division. His work focused on optimizing product costing, sourcing, and forecasting, experiences that would later serve as the foundation of his current responsibilities. His contributions to Piramal included implementing systems for vendor management, import documentation, and inventory control, which helped streamline operations and deliver cost-effective solutions.

Chandan’s earlier roles at Tupperware and ITC Limited shaped his expertise in operational excellence. As Deputy Manager at Tupperware, he established procurement processes and built a reliable vendor base while maintaining inventory targets. At ITC, Chandan’s work on Lean Manufacturing and six sigma initiatives contributed to significant production improvements, underscoring his dedication to quality and efficiency.
