Nikita Abhanave Joins Škoda Auto Volkswagen India as Head of Digital Marketing

Nikita Abhanave, a seasoned digital marketing expert, has joined Škoda Auto Volkswagen India Private Limited as the Head of Digital Marketing. Bringing a wealth of experience in brand management, digital media, and content strategy, Nikita is poised to lead Škoda Auto Volkswagen India’s digital initiatives and strengthen its online presence.

Before her current role, Nikita was a Guest Lecturer at Mumbai Educational Trust, MET League of Colleges, where she taught advanced digital marketing topics to postgraduate students, covering subjects like content marketing, digital strategy, and paid media platforms. Her commitment to nurturing the next generation of digital marketers highlights her deep knowledge and passion for the field.

In her prior position as Senior Director of Digital at Mindshare, Nikita served as the Digital Lead for the Unilever team, where she advised on digital commerce, influencer marketing, and emerging technologies. Her strategic insights contributed to enhancing digital solutions and knowledge enablement for teams within Unilever, underscoring her ability to drive impactful digital transformations.

Previously, Nikita held the role of Senior Partner – Digital at DDB Mudra Group, where she managed large client portfolios and pioneered the influencer marketing and brand advocacy unit in India. Her work across sectors like BFSI, FMCG, and e-commerce was focused on delivering best-in-class media practices aligned with clients’ visions, showcasing her adeptness in brand strategy and client leadership.

Her extensive experience also includes roles such as National Head – Brand Solutions at Alchemy Group, where she led the business unit Localyze, and Regional Head at Yatra Online Pvt Ltd. Nikita’s diverse background in agency management, account leadership, and digital media strategy makes her a valuable addition to the Škoda Auto Volkswagen India team as they continue to expand their digital footprint.
