Mr. Aditya A Shriram, Deputy Managing Director of DCM Shriram Ltd., has been appointed as the new President of the Alkali Manufacturers Association of India (AMAI). With his extensive leadership experience in the chemical and manufacturing sectors, he is expected to drive the association’s agenda of sustainability, innovation, and industry growth.
Mr. Aditya A Shriram has been associated with DCM Shriram Ltd. for over a decade, serving in multiple leadership positions. Since July 2023, he has been the Deputy Managing Director, and prior to that, he was Executive Director for four years and President of the Chemicals division for nearly five years. His leadership has played a pivotal role in strengthening the company’s operations across chemicals, farm solutions, and cement businesses.
Before taking up senior roles at DCM Shriram Ltd., Mr. Aditya A Shriram gained diverse experience through roles at Shell Trading in London as an MBA Intern and as a Market Maker at Optiver in the Netherlands. He also worked at DCM Shriram Consolidated Ltd. earlier in his career, where he successfully led the farm solutions and cement businesses.
With his strong background in business strategy, chemicals, and manufacturing, Mr. Aditya A Shriram brings a wealth of expertise to AMAI. As President, he will focus on addressing industry challenges, fostering technological advancements, and strengthening the alkali sector’s contribution to India’s industrial growth.
