Praveen Nagpal appointed as Chief Operating Officer at Raj Petro — A Member of the Shell Group, With nearly three decades of leadership experience in the lubricants and petrochemical sectors, Praveen has been instrumental in driving innovation, operational transformation, and business excellence across global organizations. His expertise spans strategy, R&D, sourcing, supply chain management, and customer-centric innovation, making him a seasoned leader in shaping high-performance teams and sustainable business growth.
At Raj Petro, Praveen will lead operational excellence and transformation initiatives, steering the company’s vision of delivering superior value and innovation as it continues its journey “Everyday Forward.”
Before this role, Praveen held several senior positions within Shell India Lubes, including Chief Technology Officer – Lubricants & Services, where he led P&L strategy, technology-driven growth, and digital transformation across industrial and automotive lubricants. His leadership also extended to global product development, circular economy initiatives, and industrial digitization.
Earlier in his career, Praveen held key roles at Chevron Lubricants India Pvt Ltd, where he managed business expansion in the Power and Marine sectors, and at Wärtsilä India Ltd, where he specialized in technical services for marine and power engines.
