Mohit Pruthi elevated to Retail Business Head & Senior Vice President at Bharti Real Estate, marking another defining milestone in a career spanning over two decades across retail, real estate, financial services, and large-scale national growth mandates. Based in New Delhi, he continues to lead the retail charter for Bharti’s landmark Worldmark 2.0 project, focusing on elevating Aerocity into a globally benchmarked integrated commercial and lifestyle destination — built around experience, demand creation, high-value leasing, and long-term asset performance.
Before assuming this elevated leadership role, Mohit served as Retail Business Head & Vice President at Bharti Real Estate, where he crafted the foundation for the retail strategy powering the expansion phase of Aerocity. He was responsible for vision setting, brand positioning, leasing strategy, and delivering retail-driven value creation. His mandate now deepens — from execution to transformation — with responsibility for turning Worldmark 2.0 into a premier international-grade retail ecosystem.
Prior to rejoining Bharti, Mohit held key positions shaping India’s retail landscape. At DLF Limited, he led growth and asset management for upcoming retail developments while optimizing existing portfolio performance across flagship malls. His stint as Vice President & National Head Retail at Brookfield Properties enabled him to sharpen cross-market retail operating models across malls, high-street retail, mixed-use destinations, and 24/7 lifestyle assets — learning first-hand how consumer patterns shift across demography, geography, and cultural context.
Mohit’s earlier and longest association with Bharti Realty saw him as the Retail, Marketing, and Brand Communication Head, where he owned full P&L responsibility across leasing, revenue optimization, and destination-led brand building. His earlier years across the financial services ecosystem — including leadership roles at PNB MetLife, ABN AMRO, Standard Chartered, CITI and ICICI Bank — shaped his expertise in scaling teams, designing distribution engines, building partnerships, and unlocking new revenue architectures.
With strategic foresight, a deep understanding of India’s evolving consumer landscape, and hands-on experience in building iconic retail destinations, Mohit now leads one of the country’s most ambitious retail real estate transformations.
