Govind Malpani has recently been appointed as the Chief Financial Officer and Head – Finance, IT & Supply Chain Management at TI Medical, marking a significant milestone in his accomplished career in finance and operations. With nearly two decades of experience across leading organisations in the healthcare and FMCG sectors, Govind steps into this leadership role with a robust track record of financial strategy, operational excellence, and cross-functional management.
Prior to joining TI Medical, Govind served at Johnson & Johnson for over eight years, where he held multiple leadership roles. Most recently, he was the Finance Controller – Commercial, overseeing financial planning, business partnering, and compliance across critical business verticals. His earlier roles within J&J included Finance Controller – Operations and Manager – Operations Finance, reflecting his deep understanding of end-to-end finance in both manufacturing and commercial environments.
Govind began his career with ITC Limited, where he spent over six years across roles in internal audit and business analysis, gaining exposure to core processes and strategic financial decision-making. He further sharpened his financial acumen at Cipla Ltd., where he led financial operations for the East Zone, before transitioning into the healthcare sector with Johnson & Johnson.
A Chartered Accountant by qualification from The Institute of Chartered Accountants of India, Govind brings a combination of financial expertise and strategic vision to his new position at TI Medical. In his expanded remit, he is expected to drive operational efficiencies, digital transformation, and resilient supply chain practices in line with the company’s growth objectives.
