Before joining Limelight, Kirtee Mehtta served as the Chief Financial Officer at 88 Pictures, where he played a transformative role in designing and executing financial strategy aligned with organisational vision. His key contributions included structuring debt facilities of up to ₹100 crores, leading IPO initiatives valued upwards of ₹400 crores, driving IND-AS transition, and establishing scalable financial control systems. His leadership led to advanced reporting frameworks, project-wise profitability visibility, automation-driven efficiency, and cost optimisation—resulting in margin improvement and operational enhancements across functions.
Earlier in his journey, Kirtee Mehtta built a strong entrepreneurial foundation through his independent practice while also contributing to the luxury retail and beauty segment in senior finance roles. At Nykaa, he led taxation, financial reporting, FP&A, ERP transformation and governance efforts, playing a major role in the successful ₹5,352-crore IPO. His work in automation, regulatory compliance, taxation efficiency, and data-driven modelling reduced manual interventions, improved profitability, and helped scale financial systems to match rapid business expansion.
