Jaipriya Mishra steps into the role of DGM – HR (Learning & Development) at Airtel, marking a significant milestone in a career built on transformation, inclusion, capability building, and future-focused workforce strategies. Known for her structured yet people-first leadership style, Jaipriya has been instrumental in building learning ecosystems that not only strengthen organizational capability but also accelerate business performance. Her appointment reflects the company’s continued focus on leadership development, next-gen skill building, and a culture anchored in growth, curiosity, and continuous learning.
Before stepping into this new role, Jaipriya served as Senior Learning Partner | COE at Airtel, where she led enterprise-wide upskilling initiatives, including a strategic AI learning mandate built to prepare the workforce for emerging work models. She played a pivotal role in designing and executing the Advanced Leadership Program (ALP), shaping future-ready leaders and embedding succession strength across levels. Her work also expanded across capability enablement for senior, mid-level, and frontline talent pools—ensuring learning wasn’t an event, but a system.
Earlier, as Head – Talent Management & Development for UP East, she successfully led HR Business Partnering for a workforce of 750+ employees—driving performance differentiation, succession planning, employee experience, and organizational culture deep into distributed teams. Her focus on inclusion resulted in improved gender representation, stronger engagement, and a workplace anchored in transparency and trust.
Before joining Airtel, Jaipriya built her early career foundation at Unilever, holding multi-dimensional roles across HRBP for Sales, Employee Relations, and Supply Chain. From leading the Future of Work program at Haridwar and signing a long-term union settlement at Baddi, to leading restructuring and driving capability-building in manufacturing environments, her experience reflects versatility, resilience, and the ability to lead through sensitivity, complexity, and large-scale change.
With a strong academic foundation from Xavier Institute of Social Service, industry awards, and a track record of elevating capability and culture in fast-paced organizations, Jaipriya now takes on the responsibility of shaping Airtel’s next wave of talent transformation—future-ready, human-centric, and deeply impactful.
