Anupama has been an integral part of Commonwealth Bank’s leadership over the past three years, previously serving as Executive Manager – Bankwest Technology and later leading technology for Wealth & Private. In her new role, she will drive the next wave of innovation across retail banking, micro-investing, agentic workflows, and generative AI adoption — areas transforming the future of financial services and customer experience.
Before joining Commonwealth Bank, Anupama held senior leadership roles at Wells Fargo as Vice President of Engineering and spent more than 16 years at Fidelity Investments, where she led global programs including the establishment of a Corporate Startup Accelerator, digital transformation initiatives, and multi-country technology modernization programs. Her expertise spans strategy, ecosystem partnerships, architecture leadership, product-led transformation, and scaling high-performing global teams.
