With over 15 years of experience in data centre engineering, private cloud solutions, and mission-critical IT infrastructure, Vikash has been an integral part of Airtel’s technology evolution. Prior to this role, he served as Engineering Manager, where he led initiatives across private clouds, infrastructure scalability, automation frameworks, and operational excellence. His contribution has been vital in strengthening the organisation’s digital backbone and resilience.

Before joining Airtel, Vikash spent nearly a decade at MakeMyTrip, where he advanced through key roles within the technology vertical—from NOC Lead to Senior Manager. During this period, he played a major role in designing high-performance infrastructure systems, managing cloud deployments, and enabling technology-driven growth during one of the company’s most transformative business phases.

Earlier in his career, Vikash also worked with IndiaMART InterMESH Limited, contributing to infrastructure planning and technology operations. His journey reflects a strong foundation in digital operations, distributed systems, and reliability engineering—expertise that now supports his new mandate at Airtel.

Vikash’s advancement into the AVP role positions him to further accelerate Airtel’s cloud-first technology roadmap, enabling scale, speed, and digital innovation across the organisation.
