Akshay Sial has been appointed as Chief Executive Officer at GSR Food Factory, marking a strategic leadership milestone as the organisation accelerates its expansion across food services and manufacturing operations. In this role, he will be responsible for driving overall business strategy, strengthening operational scale, and positioning GSR Food Factory as a high-growth, customer-centric player in the institutional food solutions space.
As CEO, Akshay will focus on building robust go-to-market strategies across key segments including corporate workplaces, healthcare institutions, manufacturing units, and the education sector. His mandate includes expanding market presence, deepening customer partnerships, enhancing service quality, and driving innovation-led growth to meet evolving client expectations in a competitive and fast-changing food services landscape.
Akshay brings over more than 2 decades of extensive experience across food services, facility management, and B2B sales leadership. Prior to this appointment, he served as AVP – Sales at Bluspring Enterprises and Quess Corp Limited, where he led large-scale portfolios, managed P&L responsibilities, and built strong CXO-level relationships across diverse industries. His ability to translate client needs into scalable solutions has been a consistent differentiator throughout his career.
Earlier, Akshay held key roles at Compass Group India, Manipal Integrated Services, and Sodexo, where he developed deep expertise in hospitality operations, bid management, strategic account growth, and customised food service solutions. These experiences helped him gain a holistic understanding of operational excellence, cost optimisation, and service innovation across multi-location and high-volume environments.
With his strong blend of commercial acumen, operational insight, and people leadership, Akshay is well-positioned to lead GSR Food Factory into its next phase of growth.
