Jasvinder Ladre has been appointed as Deputy Vice President & Regional Manager at SBI General Insurance. In his new role, Jasvinder will be responsible for overseeing Multiline Agency and Retail Broking operations across the Bangalore and Karnataka Circle. With over 17 years of extensive experience in the general insurance industry, Jasvinder has built a strong track record of driving growth through strategic partnerships, sales excellence, and operational efficiency. Prior to joining SBI General Insurance, he spent nine successful years with TATA AIG General Insurance Company Limited, where he held multiple senior leadership positions, including AVP & Regional Sales Manager – Retail Agency. During his tenure, he was instrumental in expanding the motor agency business, developing high-performing teams, and implementing strategic frameworks that enhanced revenue and market penetration across regions such as Chandigarh, Jaipur, and Bengaluru.
Earlier in his career, Jasvinder made a significant impact at Star Health and Allied Insurance Company Limited, where he served as Branch Manager. There, he played a pivotal role in managing branch operations, executing marketing initiatives, and leading strategic sales planning to achieve business objectives. His hands-on approach to team management, combined with his ability to identify growth opportunities, helped establish a strong operational foundation in both retail and corporate insurance segments.
He also contributed to the growth of Niva Bupa Health Insurance (formerly Max Bupa) as Agency Manager, where he focused on developing and nurturing channel partnerships across northern India. Additionally, his early experience at ICICI Lombard as Unit Sales Manager – Agency gave him valuable exposure to the dynamics of agency-based insurance distribution, strengthening his expertise in sales management, training, and customer engagement.
