Shhri Ram has joined The Printers Mysore | Deccan Herald | Prajavani as Head – Brand Marketing & Events. In his new role, he will be leading brand strategy, integrated marketing initiatives, and IP development across the group’s media properties, driving audience engagement and brand visibility in key markets.
Before this, he served as Director – Brand Marketing at Star India (Colors Kannada) , where he led large-scale brand campaigns, audience growth programs, and high-impact regional brand initiatives. Prior to that, he worked at Viacom18 Media Private Limited as Director – Brand & Content Marketing, where he was responsible for brand-building across Colors Kannada, Colors Super, and Colors Kannada Cinema, driving strong cultural connect and brand love.
Earlier in his journey, Shhri played a key role as Senior Brand Marketing Manager at Associated Broadcasting Co. Pvt. Ltd (TV9) , where he focused on strategy, brand solutions, and activations, and also worked as a Brand Strategy Consultant on multiple independent projects. He also spent nearly six years with Zee Entertainment Enterprises Limited as Senior Brand Manager, contributing to marketing performance across high-viewership programming and brand IP growth.
He began his marketing career in the radio and events space with Radio Mirchi , Brigade Hospitality, Red FM, and Suvarna Entertainment, where he gained hands-on experience in event management, activations, show production, and on-ground brand building. With his rich experience in brand storytelling, cultural marketing, and audience connection, Shhri’s appointment reinforces The Printers Mysore’s commitment to strong creative leadership and meaningful market presence.
