Manisha Sain has been appointed as the National Planning Director at FCB Ulka. Based in Mumbai, she brings over 15 years of experience in brand strategy, consumer insights, and marketing communications. In her new role, Manisha will lead strategic planning across brands, helping clients unlock deeper consumer connections and drive creative effectiveness through data-backed and culturally resonant storytelling.
Before joining FCB Ulka, Manisha spent over six years at The Womb Communications, where she served as Lead of Strategic Planning. During her tenure, she worked on acclaimed campaigns for brands such as Sebamed, Epigamia, and Pilgrim. She played an instrumental role in shaping brand positioning, developing communication strategies, and leading thought leadership initiatives like the “State of Marketing in India” at Cannes Lions 2024. Her work combined cultural intelligence with strategic creativity to help brands achieve distinct market identities.
Previously, Manisha was associated with BBDO India as Associate Vice President – Planning, where she led planning for key accounts and contributed to impactful campaigns that strengthened brand narratives. Her earlier experience at Nielsen honed her analytical acumen, Netscribes and Tech N Eco Consultants as she worked closely with FMCG clients including Britannia, Piramal Healthcare, and Nivea, offering data-driven insights to enhance retail performance and portfolio optimization.
With a strong foundation in brand strategy and a deep understanding of consumer behavior, Manisha brings a balance of creative instinct and analytical rigor to her new role. Her appointment at FCB Ulka underscores the agency’s commitment to strengthening its strategic leadership and delivering transformative brand solutions that resonate with India’s evolving consumer landscape.
