Vivek Soni appointed as Chief Operating Officer at Oswal Industries Limited, bringing with him more than two decades of leadership experience across industrial automation, engineering, and operations. In his new role, he is responsible for driving operational excellence, strengthening manufacturing performance, and enabling sustainable growth at the company’s Kalol, Gujarat facility. His transition marks a significant milestone in Oswal’s push toward scaling capabilities and enhancing global competitiveness.
Before joining Oswal, Vivek spent an impressive 19 years at Honeywell, where he held multiple leadership roles across business operations, engineering, sales, and business line management. As the Elster India Leader, he oversaw integration, transformation, and operational strategy for the business, playing a critical role in customer experience, team management, forecasting, and strategic planning. His tenure also included heading the HBS India Core Business Operations, where he led key initiatives in P&L management, operational efficiency, and organizational development.
His earlier roles at Honeywell, including Business Manager for PMC Services, Sales Manager, Engineering Coordinator for APAC, and Operations Leader, strengthened his expertise in energy management, global engineering, managed services, operational planning, and customer experience management. These cumulative experiences established him as a leader with deep capabilities across cross-functional operations, budget management, capability development, and continuous improvement.
Vivek’s foundational years were shaped by roles at Elster-Instromet India, GE Power, HCL Perot Systems, Tata Honeywell, and Yokogawa India . Across these positions, he worked on large-scale engineering programs, thermal power projects, global sourcing coordination, and industrial automation solutions. With a long-standing record of operational leadership and strategic execution, Vivek continues to drive transformation and innovation in India’s industrial and automation sectors.
