Anil Thakur appointed as Head – Process & Production at Jindal Panther, marking an exciting new chapter in his manufacturing and operations leadership journey. Based in Angul, Odisha, Anil now takes charge of critical production functions, process optimization, and performance improvement at one of India’s growing steel businesses.
With over 14 years of diverse experience across leading cement and manufacturing organizations, Anil has built strong expertise in plant operations, cost optimization, quality systems, AFR strategy, and end-to-end production management. His most recent role as Production Section Head at MP Birla Cement strengthened his leadership in operational strategy and efficiency enhancement.
Before this, Anil spent over four years with Nuvoco Vistas Corp. Ltd., leading process, production, and alternative fuel initiatives—playing a key role in sustainable manufacturing and circular economy practices. His earlier tenure at Emami Ltd. and a seven-year track record with JK Cement laid the foundation for his deep technical knowledge, data-driven decision-making, and capability to lead large-scale production environments.
With a strong operational mindset and proven execution capabilities, Anil now moves forward to contribute to Jindal Panther’s performance-driven culture, innovation-led production, and long-term growth trajectory.
