Chetananand Pathak has been appointed as Vice President – Corporate Quality
at Glenmark Pharmaceuticals Ltd.
Chetananand brings nearly three decades of deep and hands-on expertise in
pharmaceutical quality and regulatory compliance. Prior to joining Glenmark,
he built a strong leadership legacy at Emcure Pharmaceuticals Limited, where
he progressed through senior roles including Director – Quality & Compliance
and Senior Director – Corporate Quality & Compliance. During this tenure, he
led multiple high-impact regulatory inspections by agencies such as USFDA,
WHO, ANVISA, and others, while driving quality governance and compliance
initiatives.
Earlier in his career, Chetananand held multiple leadership roles at Lupin,
where he was instrumental in strengthening corporate quality functions,
vendor qualification programs, and QAMS digitalisation initiatives. His
experience spans a wide range of products , including API, oral solid dosage,
and injectables, enabling him to bring a comprehensive, end-to-end perspective
to quality leadership.
His professional journey also includes impactful stints at Alembic
Pharmaceuticals, GSK, and Cipla, where he built strong foundations in
microbiology, sterile manufacturing, validations, and GMP compliance.
