Karan Lalchandani appointed as AVP – GCC Sales at upGrad Rekrut in Bengaluru. In this position, he will be responsible for driving growth and strengthening business presence across GCC markets, focusing on building sustainable client relationships and solution-driven partnerships. Prior to this, Karan served as Vice President – Acquisition and Growth at JoulestoWatts Business Solutions. During this tenure, he led large-scale engagement programs, drove expansion across enterprise portfolios, and developed long-term collaborations with key clients. His work played a central role in revenue growth, solution delivery, and strengthening organizational positioning in competitive markets.
Before rejoining JoulestoWatts in a leadership capacity, he worked with Quess Corp Limited, managing client engagement across multiple business units. In these roles, Karan oversaw relationship management, operational delivery, and client satisfaction initiatives while aligning commercial outcomes with organizational priorities.
Karan’s earlier experience spans multiple growth and business development roles within JoulestoWatts Business Solutions, where he steadily progressed through consultant, manager, and general manager positions. His responsibilities extended across sales enablement, client servicing, business retention, and operational excellence, demonstrating his capability in both strategy and execution.
He began his career in marketing and business development roles, including experience at Goose Technologies and internship assignments with HT Media, HDFC Bank, and Tata Teleservices, which helped establish his foundation in customer understanding, market research, and relationship-driven business growth. Across his journey, Karan has consistently demonstrated a strong ability to build networks, drive market expansion, and deliver scalable solutions aligned with client needs.
