Srinivas Mullapudi appointed as Vice President – SCM (EPC–MFG–O&M) at SWELECT Energy Systems Ltd, where he now leads large-scale supply chain management for engineering, manufacturing, and operations functions. Based out of Chennai, he oversees procurement strategy, vendor development, contracting, and operational excellence initiatives that support the company’s renewable energy growth. His role integrates strategic sourcing with end-to-end supply chain transformation to strengthen SWELECT’s competitive positioning.

Before this, Srinivas spent an extensive 12+ years at Tata Power Solar Systems Limited, rising to the position of Group Head – Strategic Sourcing, Operational Excellence and Vendor Management. During his tenure, he managed major procurement portfolios, executed high-value contracts, streamlined sourcing for solar and renewable projects, and strengthened supplier ecosystems across India. His expertise includes SAP-driven procurement, techno-commercial evaluations, negotiations, and post-order operations, contributing significantly to Tata Power’s large EPC and manufacturing projects.

Srinivas earlier held procurement leadership roles at Abhijeet Projects Limited and Jindal Power Limited, where he managed sourcing for critical project requirements, vendor coordination, contracting and logistics. His responsibilities spanned RFQs, commercial comparisons, cost optimization, and ensuring seamless supplier-to-site coordination. These roles helped him build a strong foundation in project procurement across power, energy, and heavy engineering sectors.

Across his career, Srinivas has developed deep specialization in supply chain management, EPC procurement, vendor development, and operational excellence. With his education from XLRI Jamshedpur and nearly two decades of progressive experience, he brings a combination of strategic insight and hands-on execution capability. In his new leadership position at SWELECT Energy Systems Ltd, he is set to drive stronger SCM frameworks and contribute to India’s evolving sustainable energy ecosystem.
