Diwakar Bharani, MRICS, CLSSGB, has recently taken on the role of Senior Vice President, Commercial – Leasing & Operations at The Phoenix Mills Ltd. in Bengaluru, Karnataka. Diwakar’s new role is a significant milestone, reflecting his extensive expertise and successful track record in real estate and leasing management. With this appointment, he aims to contribute to the company’s commercial leasing and operational strategies.

Before joining The Phoenix Mills Ltd., Diwakar served at Cushman & Wakefield for over seven years. He most recently held the position of Executive Director, where he was responsible for managing key accounts, leading business operations, and driving strategic initiatives in leasing and transaction management. Diwakar’s experience in this capacity equipped him with a deep understanding of sales target management, strategic thinking, and financial analysis, which he now brings to his new role.

Earlier in his career at Cushman & Wakefield, Diwakar held the role of Senior Director, demonstrating exceptional capabilities in sales and marketing, resource management, and team leadership. He was pivotal in delivering value through effective client relations, solution selling, and operational excellence, making him a key asset to every team he has been part of. His journey also included serving as the Director of the Tenant Advisory Group, where he provided critical real estate advisory services to multiple stakeholders.

Diwakar’s professional journey has been marked by impactful leadership roles, including his earlier tenure at Jones Lang LaSalle as Local Director. There, he honed his expertise in capital expenditures, presentations, and account planning, focusing on comprehensive occupancy solutions for various clients. With each transition, he has demonstrated a strong command over strategic thinking and business case preparation, making him well-suited for his current role at The Phoenix Mills Ltd.
