Rajiv Rawat Appointed Head of B2B for India and Asia Pacific at Stellantis
Rajiv Rawat has recently joined Stellantis as Head of B2B for the India and Asia Pacific region, bringing with him an impressive background in automotive sales, digital transformation, and business development. Based in Mumbai, Rajiv’s new role will focus on driving growth in B2B fleet sales and expanding the pre-owned car market across the IAP region for Stellantis’ diverse portfolio of brands. With a wealth of experience in leadership roles across major automotive companies like Tata Motors, Volkswagen, Hyundai, and GHFL (Garware Hi-Tech Films Limited), Rajiv’s expertise is expected to significantly contribute to Stellantis’ growth in the region.
Prior to Stellantis, Rajiv was the Vice President of Sales, Marketing, and Network Development at GHFL, where he led a transformative turnaround of the company’s automotive division. With complete P&L responsibility, Rajiv successfully implemented the “Next Plan,” focusing on portfolio optimization, brand engagement, and sustainable growth. Under his leadership, GHFL launched new products like Paint Protection Films (PPF), achieved stronger OEM partnerships, and introduced digital innovations like e-warranties and CRM tools. His initiatives at GHFL were instrumental in achieving impressive year-over-year growth in CPD sales volume and gross margin.
Before his tenure at GHFL, Rajiv held leadership positions at Tata Motors, where he led strategic planning and execution for corporate sales. Notably, he launched the Tata Garv Program, enhancing brand image and achieving a sales increase of over 3,000 units monthly across Tata Group companies. His efforts contributed to the successful promotion of the Tata Harrier and Safari models, and he developed a performance monitoring system to drive improvements in both internal and external stakeholders’ engagement.
Rajiv’s earlier experience includes roles with Volkswagen and Hyundai, where he focused on brand growth, network development, and process optimization. His comprehensive understanding of the automotive industry, combined with his proven ability to manage large teams, develop strategic partnerships, and drive digital transformation, positions him as a valuable asset for Stellantis in its mission to expand B2B operations across the India and Asia Pacific region.
