Rishi Chhabra Appointed as New Country Manager for Visa India

Rishi Chhabra has stepped into his new role as Visa’s Country Manager for India, where he will spearhead efforts to expand Visa’s digital payment services across the nation. Rishi’s extensive background in driving growth through digital transformation, strategic innovation, and customer-centric solutions aligns seamlessly with Visa’s objectives for India. Before joining Visa, Rishi served as Managing Director and Country Head for Fiserv in India and Sri Lanka. During his tenure, he was pivotal in leading Fiserv’s merchant acceptance, fintech business strategy, and product innovation efforts, which led to a marked increase in Fiserv’s market presence in the South Asia region. Rishi also managed revenue and cost-optimization initiatives, positioning Fiserv for sustained growth.

In his prior role at Clover Network, Inc., Rishi served as the SVP, Head of Digital and Growth, overseeing demand generation, customer success, and digital distribution channels. His leadership in digital marketing, acquisition, and analytics optimized customer engagement and solidified Clover’s market position.

Rishi’s career also includes a senior role at First Data Corporation, where he was instrumental in the creation of data-driven products like Clover Insights and SpendTrend, which offered key consumer insights through advanced data analytics.
