Rishi Gaind Appointed as Head of Human Resources for RIL-Disney Joint Venture

Rishi Gaind has been named the Head of Human Resources for the RIL-Disney Joint Venture, a strategic partnership between Reliance Industries Limited (RIL) and Disney. Rishi brings a wealth of experience spanning over two decades, with a proven track record in HR leadership and organizational development. His appointment is a testament to the JV’s commitment to enhancing its talent and organizational strategies.

Since 2019, Rishi has been leading the HR function at Disney Star, where he played a key role in integrating HR operations with business growth initiatives. Before this, he served as Executive Vice President – Human Resources at Star India for nearly 17 years, focusing on building a robust workplace culture and driving diversity, equity, and inclusion (DE&I) programs. His extensive experience in these roles makes him a strategic fit for his new position.

Rishi’s career began at Grindwell Norton, where he worked as a Senior Officer in Human Resources. He then advanced to the position of Human Resources Manager at Computer Associates India. His deep understanding of HR processes across industries highlights his adaptability and commitment to organizational excellence. He is also a graduate of Symbiosis International University, which laid the foundation for his strategic HR expertise.

As the Head of HR for the RIL-Disney JV, Rishi will oversee talent management, leadership development, and employee engagement while driving DE&I initiatives. His leadership is expected to align with the JV’s vision of building a future-ready workforce and fostering innovation in its HR practices.
