Vineeta Mittal has recently joined Citrin Cooperman as the HR Director for India, bringing an impressive background in strategic human resources and people management. In this new role, she will be overseeing HR operations in India, focusing on driving diversity, engagement, and organizational development initiatives. Vineeta’s approach aims to foster a workplace that supports both company goals and employee growth, making a positive impact on Citrin Cooperman’s workforce.

Vineeta also serves as a Visiting Faculty of Human Resources at IMI Delhi and Symbiosis University, where she imparts her industry knowledge to students and future HR leaders. Her teaching role enables her to share practical HR insights, bridging academic learning with real-world applications. She has been actively involved in championing diversity, equity, and inclusion (DEI) and is known for her commitment to nurturing inclusive workplace environments.

Before joining Citrin Cooperman, Vineeta was the Director of People & Culture at Grant Thornton Bharat LLP. In this role, she led various DEI initiatives and strategic talent programs, which played a key role in supporting organizational growth and cultural transformation. Her tenure at Grant Thornton reflects her dedication to advancing people-focused strategies, enhancing workplace inclusivity, and implementing meaningful HR transformations.

Her prior HR experience spans several leading organizations, including HT Media Ltd. and American Express, where she held positions in talent management, organizational development, and HR business partnership. Across these roles, Vineeta developed a versatile skill set in HR strategy, capability building, and employee engagement. With her wealth of experience and expertise, Vineeta is set to make a significant impact at Citrin Cooperman.
