Atul Jain Appointed as MD & CEO of Aptech Ltd.

Atul Jain has been appointed as the Managing Director and Chief Executive Officer of Aptech Ltd., a pioneering organization in skilling and non-formal vocational education. Bringing his extensive leadership background to Aptech, Atul will lead the company from its headquarters in Mumbai, Maharashtra. Established in 1986, Aptech is a public company listed on India’s stock exchanges, and it has established a global footprint with over 800 franchise partners across India, Asia, Africa, and the Middle East.

Before joining Aptech, Atul was an angel investor specializing in B2B, B2C, and sustainability-focused ventures since 2016. His investment portfolio includes companies like ShopKirana, a mobile platform facilitating retailers’ product orders. Prior to that, Atul served as President at a private equity investee company in the footwear industry, where he managed strategic initiatives and market expansion.

In his earlier career, Atul held notable positions at Orient Electric, where he started as Senior VP and rose to the role of Executive VP & Business Head, overseeing global exports and expanding product lines. He also worked as the Chief Operating Officer at LeEco in China, leading the India Smart Devices division and launching products that achieved significant revenue in their first year.

Atul’s journey began with roles in major organizations such as Samsung Electronics, Jumbo Electronics, Godfrey Phillips India, and Bharti Airtel, where he gained experience across diverse sectors. His well-rounded expertise in business leadership, investments, and innovation aligns with Aptech’s growth trajectory, reinforcing its mission to drive excellence in vocational education.
