Harpreet Singh Appointed as Chief Executive Officer at Onix Renewable

Harpreet Singh has taken on the role of Chief Executive Officer at Onix Renewable in October 2024. Bringing a wealth of experience in business operations, strategy, supply chain management, and project execution, Harpreet is set to lead Onix Renewable in its mission to strengthen its position in the renewable energy sector. His extensive expertise in managing large-scale renewable projects and strategic sourcing adds immense value to his new role.

Before joining Onix Renewable, Harpreet served as the Senior Vice President – SCM at Azure Power, where he was responsible for overseeing supply chain strategies and managing engineering, procurement, and construction (EPC) operations. His tenure at Azure Power honed his skills in strategic sourcing, supplier management, and the overall execution of supply chain frameworks essential for large-scale renewable projects.

Prior to Azure Power, Harpreet was the Head of Business Operations at First Energy, where he led key initiatives in business operations and contract management, focusing on driving operational excellence and strategic sourcing. His ability to optimize supply chain and procurement processes played a critical role in achieving business growth and efficiency at First Energy.

Harpreet’s career journey also includes notable leadership positions at SB Energy (SoftBank Group), Schneider Electric, and Siemens. At SB Energy, he held the role of Vice President – Procurement, where he spearheaded procurement and supply chain strategies crucial to the development of extensive energy projects. His tenure at Schneider Electric and Siemens further enhanced his proficiency in strategic procurement and project management, laying a strong foundation for his current leadership role.
