Amit Sachdeva Joins Physics Wallah as New CFO, Bringing Expertise from Blinkit and Wipro

Amit Sachdeva, has been appointed as the Chief Financial Officer (CFO) at Physics Wallah, bringing his extensive financial expertise to the prominent edtech platform. Formerly the CFO at Blinkit, Sachdeva adds significant depth to the executive team as Physics Wallah advances its mission to broaden educational access throughout India. His new role aligns with the company’s goals of scaling operations with an emphasis on financial sustainability and governance.

With a career spanning multiple sectors, including consumer technology, IT, and e-commerce, Sachdeva has held key leadership positions at IGT Solutions and Wipro. His strategic approach to financial leadership, developed over years of experience in diverse industries, equips him to support Physics Wallah’s growth with a sustainable financial model. His background in financial strategy and governance will be instrumental as the company strengthens its position in the edtech sector.

Sachdeva’s credentials include a Chartered Accountant designation from the Institute of Chartered Accountants of India and CPA certification in the USA. He is also an alumnus of Shri Ram College of Commerce (SRCC), University of Delhi, providing him with a robust understanding of both Indian and global financial landscapes. His strategic insights are expected to be pivotal in helping Physics Wallah achieve its objectives of deeper educational reach and impact.

This leadership enhancement follows Physics Wallah’s recent $210 million Series B funding round led by Hornbill Capital, with additional investment from Lightspeed Venture Partners, GSV, and WestBridge Capital. Sachdeva’s addition to the team aligns with CEO Alakh Pandey’s vision to establish Physics Wallah as a leader in accessible education, backed by a solid financial and strategic framework.
