Vishal Soni Joins Sovereign Pharmaceuticals Pvt. Ltd. as Senior Manager – Injectable Production, Spearheading Greenfield Projects
Vishal Soni has taken on a new leadership role as Senior Manager – Injectable Production at Sovereign Pharmaceuticals Pvt. Ltd., Daman. With a track record of managing large-scale injectable production projects and greenfield setups, Vishal is now leading Sovereign’s ambitious initiatives involving isolator-based ampoule, vial, and PFS (pre-filled syringe) lines, including advanced integrations from Tofflon, China. His expertise in building production capabilities from the ground up is expected to add immense value to Sovereign Pharma’s manufacturing excellence.
Prior to this, Vishal held a key position at Sunways (India) Pvt. Ltd., where he served as Senior Manager in the injectable ophthalmic production and packing department. At Sunways, he oversaw the production of eye drops, ointments, vials, and ampoules catering to both domestic and international markets. Notably, he was involved in the greenfield development of two state-of-the-art eye drop lines targeted at regulated markets such as the US and Europe. The company’s long-standing joint venture with Rohto Pharma, Japan, underlined the global standards Vishal was instrumental in upholding.
Earlier in his career, Vishal worked with ERIS Lifesciences, contributing to the general injectable production and packing department. During his 7-month tenure there, he played a crucial role in establishing a greenfield project in Ahmedabad, focused on sterile production environments and compliance-driven output. His dedication to quality and process optimization has consistently enabled manufacturing units to meet stringent regulatory requirements.
Vishal also served at Amneal Pharmaceuticals, where he managed general injectable production and greenfield project planning. His responsibilities spanned validation, auditing, and large-scale production strategy, further solidifying his reputation as a domain expert in injectable drug manufacturing. Across each of these esteemed pharmaceutical firms, Vishal has demonstrated deep expertise in sterile manufacturing, isolator-based systems, lyophilization, and regulatory compliance, making him a valuable asset to any high-growth pharma enterprise.
