Guruprasad S. Ascends to Vice President at Bosch Global Software Technologies

Guruprasad S., a seasoned leader with over two and a half decades of experience, has recently taken on the role of Vice President at Bosch Global Software Technologies. His new position marks a significant milestone in his career, placing him at the helm of engineering and software-intensive programs across diverse sectors, including industrial, healthcare, consumer goods, energy, and building technologies. As the youngest member of Bosch’s extended top leadership team, Guruprasad is set to collaborate with over 3,000 knowledge experts, driving product innovation and digital excellence.

Before this, Guruprasad served as Vice President and Global Director at Bosch, where he played a important role in building and leading the healthcare business practice in India. His leadership was instrumental in establishing key focus areas such as in-vitro medical diagnostics, Internet of Medical Things (IoMT) software platforms, and digital health services. His strategic vision and technical acumen have earned him multiple awards, including CES Innovation Awards, EPDA Awards, and the NASSCOM Engineering & Innovation Excellence Award.

Guruprasad’s journey to his current role has been marked by a series of impactful contributions to Bosch. As a Senior General Manager, he was an intrapreneurial leader, spearheading the incubation of new domains within the healthcare business and driving regional growth initiatives. His efforts in integrating edge intelligence, connectivity, and new-age business models have further solidified his reputation as a forward-thinking leader in the industry.

Beyond his corporate achievements, Guruprasad is also a PhD research scholar, focusing on interdisciplinary research in health and engineering.
